Wat Tham Khao Pun

This used to be a concentration camp during World War 2.

Not only the area has history, but in the temple there is a lime stone cave that goes through to the other side. Inside the cave it is partitioned into 9 rooms, also there is a statue of King Rama the 5th, also a room where they illustriously show the history of Kanchanaburi during World War 2. Wat Tham Khao Pun is located 2 km. beyond Chong Kai War Cemetery and approximately 6 km. from Kanchanaburi.
