King Naresuan the Great Shrine

is situated at Mu 13,Tambon Mae Phrik,
Chiang Rai-Chiang Mai Road, Km. 129. It is
assumed that he mobilised his troopswith elephants and horses-to Mueang Hang via
Wiang Pa Pao and made a stop at Amphoe
Mae Suai. The annual commemoration
ceremony of King Naresuan the Great
takes place on 18 January. In addition, visitors
will find an exhibition centre featuring
the history of King Naresuan the Great and
“Then and Now” galleries with touch screen
computers. It is open from Tuesday-Sunday
