Khu Khut Water Fowl Park

KhuKhut Water Fowl Park is located in Moo 4 of KhuKhut Sub-District. It is about 55 kilometers from Songkhla Municipality. There is 3-kilometer road from the Public Route No. 4083. It has been announced to be the Hunting Prohibition Area of Songkhla Lake on 19 April 1976. Its total area is 227,916 rai, covering some parts of Songkhla and Pattalung Provinces. KhuKhut Water Fowl Park is a part of Songkhla Lake. From the survey of Royal Forestry Department, there are birds in 44 families, 137 genus, and 219 species. The areas that you can appreciate the birds are KohKob and ThaHin, about an hour away by boat. Apart from water fowls, the surrounding nature is also beautiful, especially at sunset time. Restaurants and accommodations with goo atmosphere are provided for visitors in the bureau’s area. The appropriate time to watch the birds is from December to March of every year. The sightseeing boats are provided. The fee is 200 baht per boat. A boat can carry 6 passengers. There are 4 accommodation rooms, 200 baht per room.
