Ban Khae Topiary Centre

Ban Khae Topiary Centreis on Highway No. 201, 76 kilometres from the centre of Chaiyaphum or 1 kilometre prior to Amphoe Phu Khaio. Various styles and sizes of topiary, suitable for garden decoration are on sale on both sides of the road. Topiary is the occupation of the Ban Khae people. They usually bring Khoi or Siamese rough bush-Streblus asper Lour., Masang-Feroniella lucida (Scheff.) Swingle, and Tako-ebony, which are widely found in this area to cut and shape into beautiful forms and offer at a moderate price.
