Inside Wat Tai Ton Lon, you will see the Traipitaka hall in the middle of the pond. The hall was built from 12 wooden poles in the pond. The roof is covered by the tiles and the beautiful Chor Fah which are very uniquely stunning. The Traipitaka hall is the architectural building which represents the architectural wisdom and attempt to keep Traipitaka away from the ants and mites. Wat Tai Ton Lan is located at Rai Luk Thong subdistrict on Panas Nikhom-Cha Seong Sao route. It was built in 1905 by skillful local architectures. There are an old sermon hall, the couple of swan poles and the giant stuccos in front of the Ubosot hall, the Ubosot’s floor is covered with old Chinese Kangsai tiles and the teakwood Traipitaka hall in the middle of the pond. Wat Tai Ton Lan is located in Rai Lak Thong subdistrict. From Wat Luang Phromwat, turn right and drive for about 3 kilometers. Inside the hall are many stucco paintings about the areas. It is presumed that they were outstanding Rattanakosin artists who also built the old Traipitaka hall.
