The Model of Phra Siam Thevathiraj

The Imitated of Phra Siam Thevathiraj is located in fro not local police station, Mahadthai road, Tambon Aranyaprathet, Amphoe Ayanyaprathet, Sa kaeo. The height of the model is 1.29 metres and it was made in 1975 by Phra Uthai Dhamatheri, the abbot of Wat Pah Mafai. Later, the people, in collaboration, built the throne with four posts in order to be used in laying the foundation stone ceremony on 20 December 1985. Since there had been a fight for over 7 years in Cambodia, near Amphoe Aranyaprathet, Phra Kru Uthai Dhammatheri granted The Imitated of Phra Siam Thevathiraj to Prachin Buri province. The imitation was enshrined at the border line on 6th April 1986 which was of Chakri day to bring good fortune, to protect the soliders, the police, the civilians and to give morale to the people living at Ayanyaprathet and be safe from the war. Since Phra Siam Dhevathieraj was, later, enshrined at Aranyaprathet, people have gained more spiritual support. Although there has been a fight for the whole 7 years and the use of cannons but the bullet never fell onto the residences or harm anyone. Therefore, the people at Aranyaprathet highly respect the imitated of Phra Siam Dhevathiraj. The model of Phra Siam Dhevathiraj is the holy sculpture for people in Aranyaprathet, Sa keao. and other neighboring provinces.
