Yot Phu Ruea

It is the highest spot in the national park which is 1,365 metres above sea level. Within its compound is a stone terrace and grass field mixed with pine forest comprising Pinus merkusii which is naturally grown and Kesiya pine which is planted. From this spot, tourists can see the Hueang River and the Mekong River which marks the border between Thailand and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
