Mueang Wiang Ka Long

is located in Ban Pa San, Mu 5, Tambon Wiang
Ka Long. Take the Chiang Rai-Chiang Mai main
route, switch onto Highway No. 120 toward
Amphoe Wang Nuea for about 3 kilometres,
and nally, turn left. Presumably built in 44-43
BC, the ancient town of Wiang Ka Long located
on a mound and is surrounded by a moat. Some
of the attractions here include remains of
ancient pottery kilns, Wat Wiang Ka Long-a
place of meditation cum community learning
centre, as well as, a pottery factory famous for
Wiang Ka Long-style pottery with unique
designs depicting the story of the Lord Buddha
