Mae Wung San ResevoirMae Wang San Resevoir is located at Tambom Nakorn Jedi, Amphoe Paa Sang, Lampoon province. The reservoir is one of the Royal Development Project aiming to developing the area of Mae Aaw watershed. The reservoir has beautiful scenery and is good for relaxing. Visitors can relish the view of the surrounding mountains and various kinds of trees, all green with branches and leaves and blooming with gorgeous flowers.If the visitors love enjoying fresh seafood on a float house while admiring the atmosphere, the reservoir is a perfect place as it provides float houses for a stay along with many restaurants. The float houses here are separated and any customer can just walk inside and order his or her food. Seafood is highly recommended here because it is very fresh and delicious. One of our recommended signature dishes is “Goong Ten Mae Wung San” (Mae Wung San Dancing Shrimps.) Instead, if visitors start from Paa Sang district office, they will have to drive along the highway 106 for about 13 kilometers. There will be an intersection between the milestones 30 and 31. Drive into Baan Pong village at about 4 kilometers and you will reach the reservoir. The float house restaurants are on the other side of the area.
