Namtok Tat Hong

Namtok Tat Hong

It is a waterfall located within the compound of the national park. The park also opens an adventure route called “Tam Roi Seri Thai, Thong Phrai Tat Hong”. This is because this route was once a route of the Seri Thai (Free Thai) Movement, constructed from Loei to Phetchabun during World War II as a route for Field Marshall Plaek Pibulsongkram to take refuge from the Japanese soldiers. The waterfall is 40 metres high. When falling from the cliff to the basin, it creates a loud and resonant sound of water. Therefore, it is called “Namtok Tat Hong”. Moreover, there are many attractions along the route such as Tat Huai Wua, Hat Sai Khao, Kaeng Hin Tang, pre-historic paintings, as well as, the viewpoint at Phu Lat Muang.
