Dhamma Park and Arts ChamberDhamma Park and Arts Chamber are located at 109/2, village 1, Tambon Baan Pa Sang Noi, Paa Sang district, Lampoon province. The area is comprised of 208 acres of land and was founded by Inson Wongsaam, the national artist of sculpture of the year 1999 and Venecia Walky, an English sculptor. The park and Arts chamber are intended to be an attraction of Dhamma and Arts.The park is nicely shaded by trees and is very peaceful, suitable for those who want to relax the stress from work or school. After admiring the surrounding, visitors can also cross a beautiful white bridge named “The Noble Eightfold Paths Bridge” to reach the Arts chamber. There are several displays of sculpture and paintings concerning Dhamma and Buddhism such as a sculpture of a monk holding an alms bowl and a sculpture of a monk giving a sermon. Both are made of bronze. The masterpiece of the chamber is “The Fountain of Wisdom” which symbolizes the Noble Paths.There are many replicas of various sculpture placed around the building. There are also a special corner with voice displays and a traditional Thai house portraying the works and biography of Inson Wongsaam for anyone who is interested to learn more about him. The park is not only used to house numerous sculptures and educate about Arts but is also a local learning center of nature and environment preservation. On every Sunday and Monday, the center holds demonstration of spinning and dyeing cotton, weaving fabric, crafting house roofs from Vetiver grass and making bamboo blinds, all of which the visitors can try doing themselves.Those who are interested can travel to Dhamma Park and Arts Chamber by cars. Drive along the highway 106 and continue into the Paa Sang Street for about 500 meters. The entrance fee is either 500 baht (includes payment for a snack meal and a guide, who will lead the visitors through the park and to the Arts Chamber, then the National Artist Inson Wongsaam house.) or 1,000 baht (includes payment for a guide and a lunch.)
